Cheryl Logsdon Eric Nebeker - Chief Executive Officer at Argus Operations Eric Nebeker is an accomplished executive security consultant with a career foundation built on 20 years of service in the U.S. Army, specializing in military intelligence and special forces operations. His military experience included a wide range of duties, notably red team operations and penetration testing. Following his retirement from the military in 2016, Eric gained eight years of corporate security experience. In 2018, he founded Argus Operations, a security company where he has led and participated in executive protection, corporate security operations, media protection, private investigations, security consulting, and physical red teaming initiatives. Today, Argus Operations has pivoted exclusively to physical security consulting and red teaming, focusing primarily on physical penetration testing. Eric firmly believes that red teaming is the preferred method for helping organizations improve their security systems, processes, and procedures. Eric’s extensive training includes the U.S. Army Special Forces Advanced Special Operations Techniques course, Covert Methods of Entry training, Physical Access Control System (PACS): Practical Hacking course, and Executive Security International’s (ESI) Executive Protection, Covert Protection, and Corporate Security Management programs. Joel Lavespere - Vice Chair of ASIS Columbia River Chapter, Security Consultant Joel M. Lavespere is a board-certified security professional with 16 years of experience in public safety, critical infrastructure protection, and corporate security operations. He holds the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Physical Security Professional (PSP) credentials from ASIS International, as well as the Certified Protection Officer Instructor (CPOI) certification. Committed to advancing the security profession, Joel serves as Vice Chair and Education Liaison for the CRASIS Chapter of ASIS International, where he helps coordinate educational programs, guest speaker engagements, and certification preparation initiatives. He actively mentors security professionals across the country, assisting them in achieving industry-recognized certifications and advancing their careers. Joel’s career spans leadership roles in transportation security, energy and mining sectors, private industry, and critical infrastructure projects. He specializes in security program development, risk management, and organizational resilience, applying real-world operational experience to support the protection of people, assets, and operations. His work emphasizes the importance of continuous education, certification, and professional standards in building effective security programs. Peter Tullis, CCP - Chair of ASIS Columbia Chapter, Security Supervisor at NTT Global Data Centers Mr. Tullis is a Security Supervisor for NTT Data GDC America’s where he develops and implements corporate security strategies for a 66MW 420,000 sq foot data Center. He has over 15 years in physical security management across critical infrastructure, gaming, healthcare, and manufacturing, leading large and small teams He is an ASIS Board Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and currently serves on the Board of Directors as Executive Chair ASIS Columbia River Chapter, the ASIS International Gaming and Wagering Community Steering Committee, and Co-Chair of the annual ASIS Region 1 NW Security Conference. His industry involvement has included being the former ASIS Region 1B Assistant Regional Vice President. |
