Joseph Cervantes is a nationally recognized authority on fire alarm and life safety codes, with nearly 30 years of experience spanning system design, construction fire safety, emergency communications, inspections, testing, and standards development. His work focuses on translating complex code language into defensible, real-world execution for agencies, engineers, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction.
Joseph is an active contributor to multiple NFPA and ICC technical committees and working groups, including long-term involvement with NFPA 72 and construction fire safety provisions. He has participated in the last several code cycles and regularly advises on code intent, enforcement alignment, and risk-based compliance strategies.
